Pilots without UPRT, will require to complete this course as a first course of action. To this effect the ATO has its own e-learning module which covers the theoretical knowledge required prior to the start of the flight training. Once the theoretical part is completed the trainee will commence the flight training. The total Cost for this course is EUR1.000/pilot.
Whilst the ATO has approval to conduct Base Training, it does so in cooperation with the trainee’s airlines. However in the cases of inexperience pilots they require 6 Circuits and a go-around and for experience pilots 4 Circuits and a go-around. However prices vary and a quote will be given at the time of course.
For the pilots who are eligible for ZFTT (e.g., experience pilots with employment contracts), they require an additional A220 FFS in order to conduct 4 takeoff & landings and a go-around. The cost for this is EUR1.500/pilot.
